Taberna de Haro Included in Wine Enthusiast’s Restaurant Hall of Fame

The team from Taberna de Haro must be celebrating, having been included in Wine Enthusiast’s prestigious Restaurant Hall of Fame.

This year there are just 12 inductees. To be included, a restaurant has to have appeared on the magazine’s list of America’s 100 Best Wine Restaurants on at least four separate occasions—no small feat. What’s more, the mag extends its “congratulations to these icons that have changed how we drink and eat.”

Taberna de Haro, located in Brookline, Massachusetts, is an impressive eatery with an “epic, all Spanish wine list.” It fully reflects the owner’s passion for Spanish wine and the wine landscape, which is constantly evolving, and customers can choose from over 300 different wines as well as 75 sherries. Popular among local sommeliers, this tapas bar boasts the largest all-Spanish wine list in the US and wines from every DO, from Rioja and Rueda to Rias Baixas. Want a glass of Albariño? Or perhaps a txacoli? Or maybe a red wine from a lesser-known winery in the Bierzo wine region? It’s all on the list, and this distinction will surely help raise the profile of the restaurant and Spanish wine in general.
